L-mandelic Acid is present in this formulation as the chirally correct form of mandelic acid. This alpha-hydroxy acid is known for both its antibacterial and skin brightening properties. Research has shown that mandelic acid is effective at treating both acne and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation
Lactic Acid is a gently, moisturizing exfoliant that aids in deeper penetration of the l-mandelic acid
Kojic Acid specifically targets hyperpigmentation by inhibiting tyrosinase, an enzyme critical in melanin production. While it doesn't directly treat ingrown hairs, it's essential for addressing the dark spots and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation that often occur after ingrown hairs heal.
Niacinamide is a helpful antioxidant that aids in helping in brightening hyperpigmentation.
Dispense 1-2 pumps and gently press and pat into the skin over your challenging blemishes. Start off by using every other night for at least two weeks before incorporating nightly. This serum may also be used in the daytime but please consult an esthetician prior to using twice daily. Must wear SPF. AVOID EYES.
