• Mandelic Acid has a larger molecular size compared to other AHAs, allowing it to penetrate the skin more gradually. This makes it particularly effective for treating ingrown hairs as it gently exfoliates the surface layer of skin, helping to free trapped hairs while also addressing post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation through its mild lightening properties.

• Lactic Acid is known for its dual action as both an exfoliant and a humectant. When treating ingrown hairs, it helps dissolve the dead skin cells that trap hairs beneath the surface while simultaneously keeping the skin hydrated. Its natural skin-brightening properties also help fade dark spots left behind from previous ingrowns.

• Glycolic Acid has the smallest molecular size of all alpha-hydroxy acids, allowing it to penetrate deeply into the skin. This makes it highly effective at breaking down the bonds between dead skin cells that can trap hairs and cause ingrowns. HOW TO USE

Apply to clean, dry skin in areas prone to ingrown hairs or hyperpigmentation. Massage into the skin thoroughly. Use in your evening routine, and always follow with sunscreen during daytime hours if areas of application may be exposed to sun. We recommend using no more than 3 nights per week to start. Do not apply over broken skin, cuts, or bruises. AVOID FACE AND ANY MUCOUS MEMBRANE AREAS.
